Greenberg has more than 36 years of experience representing clients with family law and business matters, including high-asset divorce cases, custody battles, father's rights, prenuptial agreements and business litigation. His significant cases include Cross v. Cross, one of the leading cases on common law marriage, and Kamerman v. Kamerman, a frequently cited case regarding requests for modification of child support awards. Additionally, he has been a guest family law attorney on numerous television shows, including Montel Williams, and a guest commentator on Court T.V.
Greenberg teaches continuing legal education classes in the area of family law. For 12 years he lectured several times a year at the Sobelsohn Paralegal School. Recently, he has been teaching continuing legal education courses in the area of family law, including child custody, support, visitation and property distribution.
He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Federal, Supreme and Tax Courts. Greenberg's professional memberships include the New York State and American Bar Associations, in the family law sections of both bar associations. Greenberg is also an active member (currently on the International Tribunal) of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, the leading professional law fraternity. He is a Freemason and past master of his Masonic lodge; he is a past president of the Sixth Manhattan District.
For several years, his biography has been included in Marquis' Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in America. In addition, he has achieved the highest rating for ability and legal ethics in Martindale-Hubbell. In 2009, SuperLawyers magazine named him in the 2009 edition of New York Metro SuperLawyers; each year no more then 5% of the lawyers in the State receive this honor.
